The Maroon A-Line Skirt

Happy Tuesday everyone! How's everyone's start of the week?

My week has been pretty busy so far. I will be heading to the gym shortly - hoping to push this post out before I need to go though! :)

So, World MasterCard Fashion Week has officially ended in Toronto and I wasn't able to attend. Hopefully, I will get to next time around! - If anyone have gone, please leave a comment, I would love to hear all about it and know how it was!

Being inspired by WMFW, this would have been one of the outfits that I would have worn on one of those days. Though, I would have added on a short jacket since it's still pretty chilly outside.

I have paired the a-line skirt with a crop top to enhance my waist line as well as to elongate my legs (after all, I am not all that tall). I have kept this outfit simple and chic, to allow the a-line skirt to completely show its shape. Though I wanted to keep this outfit simple, I still wanted to add a little "decor" to it - hence I finished the outfit off with my ring bracelet.

LOVE - Florals & Pastels

Hi loves! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Since the weather has gotten warmer the past two weekends, I finally got a chance to do some shooting outside. Even though it was still a little chilly for what I was wearing, but I was pretty excited for the shoot!

I have been all about that Spring theme lately, hence the pastel colours once again! There can never be too much pastel colours during Spring time, right?

To add some fun and texture to this outfit, I am wearing a pleaded floral skirt. I love how the colours of the skirt compliments with the pastel pinkish purple top I am wearing. Since both my top and bottom are more or less lose fitted, I added a belt to enhance my waistline.

Taking advantage of the warmer weather, I decided to finish his outfit off with a pair of sandal heels with gold ankle straps to keep this look elegant.

Hello Pastel Colours ....

Happy weekend everyone!

Spring has finally arrived and this means it's time to bring out those pastel colours that may have been hiding in your closet all Winter long! - well at least mine has been..

Baby/pastel pink is probably the most common pastel colour you can find in a lady's closet. This pink compliments most skin tones, from light to darker skin tones.

I paired the blazer with this ruffled white top to keep the outfit bright as well as adding some texture to it. And because I wanted to keep the outfit on the lighter side, I have finished it with a pair of sand colour heels.

Oversized Turtleneck Sweater - Before I Say Hello To Spring

I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! - Remember to turn your clocks an hour early!

Spring is finally coming and before I say goodbye to Winter, I wanted to quickly get a few more wears out of my favourite oversized turtleneck sweater. That being said, I will be sharing 3 different turtleneck sweater pairings with you guys.

Pairing #1 - The Leather Jacket

Although the weather is getting warming, but during the mornings and the evenings it still gets a little chilly outside. Here I have paired the oversized sweater with a leather jacket along with a pair of knee high heel boots to give the outfit an edgy look.

This outfit is perfect for a chilly night out!

Pairing #2 - Bringing in the skirts

As the temperature is getting warmer, skirts are coming back as well! Here I have paired my oversized sweater with a faux leather skirt (yes leather again :) ) - leather pieces are perfect for this type of weather (not too cold yet not too warm)! And I have finished the outfit with my favourite pair of short booties.

This outfit is great for a brunch date with the girlfriends!

Pairing #3 - Casual Jeans

And finally the most casual pairing of the 3 - jeans. Jeans pretty much go with almost any tops you can find in your closet and it's one of the best pieces in there to pair with when you feel like dressing down (while still look put together). I have finished this outfit off with a pair of black heels and my go to bag these days to add some colours to the outfit.

And though this is the most casual outfit, it is also the outfit that is suitable for the most occasions. This outfit is perfect for just running errands, brunches, a casual dinner and probably more!
